Next Book Group

The Most Easterly Book Group meets in Books and Prints (usually) on the first Monday of the month at 6pm.

June's read (for July Book Club) is 'Love Medicine' by Louise Erdrich. (Love Medicine is Louise Erdrich's debut novel, first published in 1984. Erdrich revised and expanded the novel in subsequent 1993 and 2009 editions. The book follows the lives of five interconnected Ojibwe families living on fictional reservations in Minnesota and North Dakota.)

There will be no book club in August to allow you enough time to read 'In Extremis' by Lindsey Hilsum -  a riveting, inspiring and poignant account of the turbulent life of maverick war correspondent Marie Colvin killed in 2012 in Homs, Syria. Date for that book discussion is Monday 5th Sept.
